Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Handan Yongnian District Qianheng Fastener Co., Ltd. ("we", "us") manufactures and exports formwork fastening hardware from Yongnian District, Handan City, Hebei Province, China. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. What we collect

Information you give us through the inquiry form: your name, company name, email address, country, the product or specification you are interested in, and any message you add. If you contact us by WhatsApp or email instead, we receive the same kind of information through that channel.

Order-related information: billing and delivery details, purchase order references and correspondence needed to fulfil an order.

Technical information collected only if you accept analytics cookies: pages visited, approximate region derived from your browser settings, device and browser type, and referring source. We do not store your IP address in analytics and IP anonymisation is enabled.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

To answer your inquiry and prepare a quotation — necessary steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).

To process and deliver orders, and to keep records required by tax and export law — performance of a contract and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).

To understand how the website is used so we can improve it — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.

To measure the performance of our advertising on Meta platforms — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

4. Cookies and local storage

Essential (always active): a local storage entry that remembers your language and region preference, and one that records your cookie choice. These contain no personal data and are required for the site to work as expected.

Analytics (optional, off by default): Google Analytics 4. The script is not loaded at all unless you click "Accept all" — no request is sent to Google before that.

Advertising (optional, off by default): Meta Pixel, used to measure conversions from our Meta ads. Like analytics, it is not loaded unless you accept.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use the following service providers, each acting as a processor under a data processing agreement:

Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery and delivery of inquiry form submissions.

Resend, Inc. — sending the notification email generated by your inquiry.

Zoho Corporation — our business mailbox where inquiries are received and answered.

Google LLC — analytics, only if you consent.

Meta Platforms, Inc. — advertising measurement, only if you consent.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, for example to customs authorities or under a valid court order.

6. International transfers

Some of the providers above process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard under Art. 46 GDPR.

7. How long we keep it

Inquiry records, including the correspondence that follows, are kept for 24 months from our last contact with you, so that we can pick up a project again or evidence what was quoted. After that they are deleted.

Order and accounting records are kept for the period required by Chinese tax and export regulations.

Analytics data is retained according to the GA4 retention setting, normally 14 months.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to our processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work or where the alleged infringement took place.

9. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Inquiry submissions are transmitted to our email provider over encrypted connections and are accessible only to staff who need them to answer you. We keep the number of people with access to inquiry data as small as practical.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our tools or legal obligations change. The date at the top of the page always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be reflected here before they take effect.
